Warrior
Warriors are the quintessential melee fighters of Azeroth. They charge into battle with raw physical power, wearing the heaviest armor and wielding the biggest weapons. Whether tanking raid bosses or cleaving through enemies, the Warrior is the original front-liner.
How It Feels to Play
Playing a Warrior in TBC is an exercise in controlled aggression. You're always in the thick of things, toe-to-toe with whatever wants to kill your group. There's no standing at range and lobbing spells — you're right there, getting hit, hitting back harder.
The rage system makes Warriors feel fundamentally different from every other class. You don't start a fight with a full resource bar — you start with nothing and build momentum as you take and deal damage. Early in a pull you're scraping for every point of rage, but once things get rolling, you feel unstoppable. That ramp-up is both the Warrior's greatest strength and biggest frustration.
Solo content can be rough. You have no self-healing, limited crowd control, and pulling more than two mobs at once usually means a corpse run. But in a group with a healer behind you? That's where Warriors shine. TBC shifted the landscape a bit — Warriors are no longer the undisputed kings of tanking, and DPS Warriors face stiffer competition — but a skilled Warrior is still one of the most respected players in any raid.
