Paladin
Paladins are holy warriors who blend martial prowess with divine magic. They can heal, tank, or deal damage, and bring some of the most powerful group buffs in the game. In TBC, Blood Elf Paladins join the Horde for the first time, making Paladins available to both factions.
How It Feels to Play
Playing a Paladin in TBC feels like being the group's Swiss Army knife. You might be the healer, the tank, or the DPS — but regardless of your spec, you're also the buff bot, the cleanser, and the emergency button. Blessings are powerful enough that every raid wants multiple Paladins just for the buffs alone.
The Paladin fantasy is about resilience and utility. You're hard to kill, you have answers to almost every situation, and your Auras provide passive bonuses just by existing. Bubble (Divine Shield) is one of the most iconic abilities in the game — complete immunity to everything for 12 seconds. It's your 'get out of jail free' card.
TBC is a massive upgrade for Paladins compared to Classic. Holy Paladins are still elite healers, but now Protection Paladins are legitimate tanks (arguably the best dungeon tanks), and Retribution Paladins can actually contribute meaningful DPS instead of being memed on. The class finally feels complete.
